Charlee would like to be a Graphic Designer for TV and Film.
Ideally running her own company and making graphic props, posters, and promotional materials. So far at BAES she has completed Graphic Design - Level 1 and made such fantastic progress she is now on the Level 2 course.
She is enthusiastic about the subject and would love to continue onto higher level courses. Her tutor says,
“Charlee is an extremely passionate and hardworking learner who always puts in real effort. She is an inspirational role model for her classmates and always available to provide support and encouragement. She also provides care for an elderly relative but has never let this impact on her studies.”
This year she also acted as Learner Representative for her class at our Learner Forums, she was involved in Get Online week and demonstrated her design skills in a business class, encouraging other learners to enrol in IT and graphic courses. These additional activities have all helped her to develop new transferable skills and expand her knowledge.
While excelling on her course she has also showcased her work online with a portfolio website. She added a blog where she wrote about the projects she worked on and also added a work page where she displayed all her designs. She is currently looking to get an internship in the art department for a TV show or film.
