A former social worker from Hungary, Adrienn’s goal is to get a job as a Care Worker.

She also wants to gain confidence in her English so that she can express herself fluently in work and everyday life.

Before starting with BAES Adrienn hadn’t been to an ESOL class for five years, but she has approached the challenge with dedication and determination.

A busy mum of six, Adrienn has needed to balance the competing pressures of family life, her studies and job hunting, which is a considerable achievement.

Since September, Adrienn has achieved ESOL - Level 1 Speaking and Listening and is looking to start her first job as a Care Worker. Adrienn has gained confidence to speak fluently, both in and outside of class, and has revealed her talents as a funny and interesting writer. Her tutor says,

“It has been a pleasure to see how Adrienn has grown in confidence in the last six months; to see her sense of humour emerge and her confidence grow. I always enjoys marking her work because she includes jokes, song lyrics and interesting details to make my marking more enjoyable.”

Adrienn would like to continue her English studies by achieving her Level 1 Functional Skills, and to keep looking for a job as a Care Worker.
