We have a short course starting on Wednesday 9 December that will help prepare you for these job opportunities. Midland Mencap have vacancies for the following roles: Domiciliary Care roles and Supporting People vacancies.
On successful completion of the course you will have the skills and knowledge necessary to work safely and carry out the required job tasks. You will also have a guarantee of a job interview.
The Job
Your shift pattern will include working days, evenings and weekends on a rota basis. Supporting the same client for the duration of your shift. A number of vacancies are available across the City, offering various contracted hours.
Domiciliary Care Vacancies: Females only
- Sutton Coldfield (3 x FTE)
- Selly Oak (25 hours p/w)
- Weoley Castle Area (24.5 hours p/w)
- Erdington (3 x FTE) **Req 1 x Male)
- Saltley / Nechells (2 x FTE)
- Sheldon (27 hours p/w)
Supporting People Vacancies: Males / Females
- South West Bham (2 x FTE)
- Weoley Castle (1 x FTE)
- North Birmingham & Sutton (1 x FTE)
- Citywide (1 x FTE) Car driver preferred
The course
Start date: Wednesday 9 December. End date: Friday 18 December 2020
Times: 09:30 - 15:00 Every Day
All training will be offered online using Teams. You must have reliable Wi-fi and access to a laptop or desktop computer.
