Adam loves learning and is keen to upskill in many different disciplines as in their professional life Adam has a variety of roles across many organisations.

Adam recently chose to return to BAES to complete a Bookkeeping course because of their role as a Treasurer for several charities and community groups.

Throughout their life Adam has faced marginalisation and adversity. However, Adam has utilised these experiences as a force for positive change and has made a significant difference in communities across the Midlands, nationally, and abroad.

Since first studying with BAES, Adam has achieved an 2:1 Honours Degree in History & Politics at Coventry University. Adam was Student of the Year in their second year, the only non-final year person to do so. Whilst at University, Adam won many more awards for services to the community, both within the University and in the local community. Some of Adam’s roles have included President of the LGBT+ Society, Disabled Student’s Officer, and Student Warden Team Leader.

Adam’s successes haven’t stopped since graduating, as Adam has since founded various charities, community groups and organisations to empower communities and provide safe spaces. Adam even stood for the Local Council elections in 2022.

In the last 6 months, Adam has also had 20 poems and 7 newspaper articles published, organised two remembrance services and helped organise 3 anti-racism demonstrations. Adam has also volunteered in Calais aiding refugees.
Adam has recently acquired a scholarship to start studying for a Masters Degree in International Relations and hopes to then go onto a PhD.
