What Liam has achieved in 6 months would take most school-age children 8 years to accomplish.
Having struggled with literacy as a child, Liam enrolled on an Entry 1 Functional Skills English course in 2021.
Once he’d completed his initial certificate, there was no stopping him.
Between September 2022 and April 2023, he’d passed both his Entry 2 and Entry 3 qualifications and was working towards Level 1.
Since joining BAES, Liam has worked tirelessly to improve his English Skills. His tutor has commented on his exemplary attendance and punctuality and his supportive role within the group, calling him a role model to the other students.
Liam plans to take his Level 1 and 2 Functional Skills qualifications with BAES before progressing to an English GCSE. He hopes that he’ll be able to fulfil his dreams by completing a degree at university.
From what we’ve seen so far, there’s no doubt that Liam will achieve this!
