Social media for Beginners | Creating a YouTube channel

These courses aims to show people how to engage and confidently interact on a range of social media platforms and on YouTube. The course will guide you through the different types of social media platforms and show you how to use them safely to connect with people online.

You will learn how to create your own YouTube Channel while also developing the skills to successfully edit your videos for sharing on your channel or on other social media platforms.

By the end of these courses, you will be confident at creating your own social media accounts, edit and share videos and start to explore how to develop a career in social media. 

No previous experience is required.

If you are looking to start a career in social media and be a content creator on the Internet, these courses can be a start to accessing Further Education courses in Marketing and Communication. Our tutors can help provide information and guidance about this pathway. 

Initial course resources / additional cost 

Some tools and equipment are available for your use at the centre. However, you may need to purchase some extra tools and materials for your particular art projects, this will be discussed with your tutor if required.
